O’Hara’s Food & Spirits

The December meeting of the NECC, Inc. will be Wednesday, December 20th from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Waltham Public Library located at 735 Main Street; Waltham, Massachusetts.   We'll be in the Trustees Room on Floor 2 (Note: The library has a ground floor, a Floor 1 and Floor 2).

If you'd like to bring a holiday dessert to share, please do.

The New England Carcinoid Connection, Inc. will be hosting its 5th Patient/Caregiver Conference featuring presentations by several doctors that are experts in their fields, interactive workshops, Question & Answer periods, and informational literature. 

The cost to attend will be $25 per person.  A continental breakfast as well as lunch will be included.   

The location will be at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts.  Parking will be free for this event.

During the first half of our meeting on April 19th, a clinical nurse from Lexicon Pharmaceuticals will speak on Xermelo, their newly FDA approved oral drug for carcinoid syndrome diarrhea. The meeting will be from 10:30 am until noon. Lunch will be served after the meeting.
